Active Citizen. Dedicated Volunteer.

Renee Slinkard is a resident of Linn County and believes deeply in the importance of active citizenship and constant engagement in her community.

She has had an extensive medical career as an ultrasound technologist at hospitals and Veterans Administration. Caring deeply about the education of our children, Renee has also served as a substitute teacher. In addition, through her volunteerism through the Daughters of the American Revolution, she has helped present the U.S. Constitution in three county schools. She has long been active in helping conservative, pro-life Republicans get elected to office at all levels of government.

Most importantly, she has been married 48 years to her husband Don, with whom she owns a small business. Together they have two children and four grandchildren. Renee is a Lector at St. Philip Neri Church.
